Learn to Self-Heal is a book that anyone interested in personal development, astrology, wellness or health should own. It is empowering to say the least!

Personally, I love it because of it’s easy to read and to the point. You can use this book as an important tool in understanding yourself better as a whole: mind, body and spirit. But it is also a great aid for astrologers, psychics, healers, teachers, physicians and nurses.

The book is very well structured with almost surgical precision. You can tell that the author has a solid scientific background that allows her to offer clean-cut information. Despite this type of scientific delivery of information, the book is also very personal, open and humane.

The emphasis is on just what the title says. The metaphysical aspects are there.

But not forced on the reader that has total freedom to use the information without directly associating it to a belief system. There is also a great psychological component to the text that I enjoyed and found useful to say the least.

You will also find easy to understand/follow life-style tips and hacks that will help the reader learn how to nurture their body properly and support it in healing the process. Understanding the specific needs of one’s ayurvedic body-type brings in ancient wisdom and common sense. This book doesn’t sell a quick fix. It offers a new way of understanding and honouring one’s self as a unique and complete system. The recommendations are easy to follow and don’t encourage absurd or drastic changes making this an encouraging opportunity to take steps in the right direction.

The book touches briefly on the use of conventional medicines, the use of natural therapies, and the modalities of healing which includes real-life case studies, and highlights the dangers of illnesses and diseases such as depression. It is a personal and practical guide towards wholeness, understanding the self, and maintaining holistic wellness. The book blends astrology, holistic medicine, and spirituality together and provides readers with a wealth of knowledge and understanding that can be applied and practiced.

Divided into four sections, the first section deals with Astro-Medicine, the second one with Ayurveda, the third section is about Spiritual Health, and the final and fourth section is about the Modalities of Healing. All the topics have been discussed in detail, giving readers good techniques and tools to understand themselves and maintain wellness and wholeness in their living.
